Just Office Things — Lotus Note Broken Search

At work, we are using Lotus Notes. And we have a lot of content. One of the issues that we kept having was that we could not easily find what we were looking for.

It turns out the search bar wasn’t working because the full-text indexing was not setup/turn off. So I did a little bit of Googling and I found an alternative by using Find/Replace dialogue box.

And it works marvelously!

To access Find/Replace dialogue box you go to:

Edit > Find/Replace… [Ctrl+R]

Then you will see the dialogue box. The rest is obvious.
